About Me

Welcome graphic

Thank You for looking at my site. I'm now a senior in the department of chemical engineering at  Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Arts .

The purpose of this site is to describe my interest in Chemical Engineering and to display my resume to anyone interested.

Besides studying chemical engineering during the University semester I have been lucky to work with chemical engineers and other scientists outside of my studies.

This summer (2002) I performed research at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals in the field of new drug development.  During the summer of 2001, I participated in a material science research internship at Unilever, where we studied the formulation of sunscreen creams, their stability and dispersability. In addition, I have done biochemistry research at  The City College (CUNY).

I have some experience in laboratory work, but I am also interested in any position relevant to my major, such as Equipment design and development, Automation Control, or Process study.

I am very confident with computer systems including modeling and simulation software such as Mathematica, Maple, and Spartan.  I have some programing experience, including experience modeling phenomena such as 1-D and 2-D heat conduction/convection, solving simultaneous differential equations (ODE's), and other mathematical problems.

I look forward to hearing from you about job opportunities in these areas.

Thank you for your time.
